It’s a big day in our family! Alice has been doing chores and keeping her room clean for eight weeks to show she is responsible enough to care for a pet. She achieved her goal with flying colors and now we have a young female betta fish named Lapis. Continuing the geology theme, Lapis lives in a tank among selenite, rose quartz, and basalt.
Here’s someone going somewhere (at Memorial Park)

“Yes, yes, but what are sedimentary rocks?” (at Dundee Omaha)
Lil Science (at Dundee Omaha)
I’m the luckiest woman I know because this little bear chose to come through me to be a light in this world. She’s a math whiz, a budding geology expert, independent, confident, with a clever, mischievous sense of humor, and always singing a song. Love you Alice. Thanks for making me a mother. 💕 (at Dundee Omaha)
